Beth Derr

Beth has been an insurance agent since 2008, specializing in Medicare guidance and retirement planning. She founded Derr Insurance Group to provide clear, personalized guidance– and built a trusted team that shares her commitment to educating clients and protecting their families and savings.

Beth’s roots are in service, spending nearly 30 years in her family’s restaurant, where she learned the value of relationships and hard work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Beth and her husband Mike have four children and two grandchildren. They strive to raise their family with faith, integrity, and a heart for serving God and others.

Jacalyn Lindner

Jacalyn has spent her career helping others navigate healthcare. Before joining Derr Insurance Group, she worked as a Medicare biller at a local nursing home for 25 years. Today, she guides clients who are new to Medicare, helping them understand their options and choose the path that fits them best.

Jacalyn and her husband have been married nearly 37 years and have four daughters– two biological and two adopted from Haiti. In her free time, she enjoys antiquing, collecting PEZ, and quilting with her church group for Project Linus.

Her favorite part of the job? Meeting new people and making Medicare feel less overwhelming, one conversation at a time.

Cheryl Blewett

Cheryl joined Derr Insurance Group in June 2024 as a Pennie agent, bringing a passion for helping families find insurance that fits their needs. After retiring from healthcare in 2023, she’s excited to blend her medical knowledge with her desire to serve others in her new career.

A lifelong local, Cheryl is married to Bill and together they have six children, three granddaughters, three dogs, and two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, camping, reading, and quilting.

Cheryl values Derr Insurance Group’s family atmosphere and reputation and looks forward to growing her expertise as she meets many new people.

Stephen Lylo

Stephen brings over 20 years of sales and management consulting experience in insurance, finance, and technology to our team. Most recently, he served as a Community Outreach Representative for Gloria Gates Health Care in his hometown of Berwick, PA– an organization dedicated to compassionate, innovative care for Medicare and Medicaid communities.

Prior to returning to Pennsylvania, Stephen spent two decades in New York City, helping clients navigate benefits administration, cost management, compliance, and HR challenges. His strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships have made him a trusted advisor to individuals and organizations alike.

Stephen holds a BA in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and is licensed in Life, Accident, and Health insurance in both NY and PA. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, biking, skiing, and movie outings with his energetic 95-year-old mother.
